"Hello! My name is Genet Weldeyohanes. I am a Dental Assistant, and I graduated from Applied Career Training College in 2002. I did work as a Dental Assistant for three years, and have been trained to work at the Front Desk Office since July 2005. I am so happy to work both ways, which is assisting the Doctors and customer service since I enjoy interacting with our patients."
Hygiene Coordinator: Tania Castillo.
"Hello. My name is Tania Castillo. I was born and raised in the Cleveland Park area where our dental office is located. I speak Spanish, which allows me to help our foreign patients. I have been working with Dr. Almo and Dr. Selvaggio since 1995. My role in the office is the 'The Continuing Care Coordinator,' together with a team of three diligent co-workers. I am responsible for the production in the hygiene department, and I also implement different recall strategies. This helps to ensure that our patients do not slip between the cracks. My daily task is to confirm all hygiene appointments by calling or emailing, and to ensure that the hygiene schedules are booked as effectively and productively as possible. I enjoy interacting with patients and working closely with our excellent Doctors. Please look us up and we will gladly welcome you to our practice."

"I have been a dental hygienist for 12 years, and have been in the dental field since 1990. I graduated from Middlesex Community College in Massachusetts, and maintain current training through Continuing Education. I have practiced in Massachusetts, as well as New York City, New Jersey, and now in Washington, D.C. My husband and I moved to the area in July 2006, and I started to work for Dr. Almo and Dr. Selvaggio in the beginning of August."
Hygienist: Joanne Fiels.
Hygienist: Carole Leynes, Doctor of Dental Medicine (Philippines).
"I am a 1973 graduate of the Doctor of Dental Medicine program from the University of the East, Philippines, and later received graduate training in Oral Surgery at the University of the Philippines. I worked in the field of Public Health Dentistry for 13 years in the Philippines, and became an instructor in the field of Periodontology for 7 years in Saudi Arabia. In 2000, I received my Dental Hygiene License from the Commission of Dental Accreditation for the District of Columbia. I have worked as one of the staff hygienists at the Dental Clinic at the Pentagon. Presently, I am one of the staff hygienists of Dr. Almo and Dr. Selvaggio here in Washington, D.C."
Practice Manager: Barbara Sanchez.
"I received my training as a dental and surgical assistant in Kirksville, MO, in 1987. In 1990, I moved with my husband and children to Maryland. I began working for Dr. Almo and Dr. Selvaggio in 1995 as Dr. Selvaggio's assistant. In 1998, I was asked to take the position of Practice Manager."
